Fax Sans the Landline

Ditching the landline will soon be a popular choice among customers as cell phones and broad band Internet become more popular. For those who believe that they need to hold on to their landlines to keep sending and receiving faxes, Internet fax services will prove them wrong.
Internet options allow the user to send a fax message to a fax machine via e-mail, with the recipient’s fax number fed to the “To:” field. Electronic faxes require little management while saving more – never runs out of paper or ink.
EFax offers a free fax-receiving service. A user is assigned a fax number with a random area code. Senders must pay toll charges, though. EFax charges 10(USD) cents per page to send faxes in the United States. Rates for other country vary. Faxes are forwarded to recipient’s e-mail address as an image or PDF file.
